<p>PURPOSE:To inexpensively and stably produce a porous material of good quality from incineration ash, waste product, by forming heat-treating slag of a proper viscosity in an oxidative atmosphere. CONSTITUTION:The suitable viscosity means a range from 10<9> to 10<13> poise in the foaming heat treatment temperature ranging from 1,000 to 1,200 deg.C, and the slag whose viscosity is adjusted in this range is subjected to foaming heat treatment in this temperature range to give the porous material of good quality. In general, the slag from incineration ash of usual waste product fluctuates in its viscosity and there are few satisfying the above viscosity range. Thus, two or more kinds of incineration ash or slag are combined, when needed, a viscosity regulator, for example, a natural or synthetic mineral or synthetic compound containing aluminum oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, potassium oxide, silicon oxide and sodium oxide may be added. Particularly, MgO, Al2O3 and CaO increase the viscosity, while Na2O and K2O lowers.</p> |
