<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate connection work for a lateral branch pipe having a different diameter by equipping a bush, internally mounted together with packing surrounding an outer peripheral surface, onto the connection port of the lateral branch pipe, and providing a rib, for receiving the end surface of another lateral branch pipe, in the deep part of a socket of the bush; in a drain pipe coupling capable of connecting the lateral branch pipe having a different diameter. CONSTITUTION:A lateral branch pipe connection part 5, having an inspection part 52, wherein three receiving parts 53 are radially provided in a deep part, and provided with a gradually diameter-expanded tapered part in the vicinity of the inlet of an insertion part 52, is formed on the side surface of a coupling main body. A bush 6 is fitted to the insertion part 52 through an annular packing 81 fitted to the outside of the bush 6. The bush 6 has the receiving port 61 of a small diameter pipe 7b, and a rib 62 is provided on the depth of the receiving port 61. Consequently, screwing a bolt 92 at the time of the connection of the lateral branch pipe 7b compresses packing 82 to the coupling main body side by a flange 9b to be watertightly sticked fast to the outer peripheral surface of the lateral branch pipe 7b and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving port 61 of the bush 6 to seal a connection part, and also preventing the extraction of the lateral branch pipe 9b.</p> |
