Method and device for the restoration, building-up, repairing and crowning of damaged teeth where at least one pre-prepared pin is at least partly inserted into the root cavity and secured with fixing material where the novelty is that the cross section of the pin is not circular for at least part of that length of the pin which is inserted into the root cavity.
