<p>PURPOSE:To allow a DSP to obtain a voice CODEC function and a voice recognition function by allowing the DSP to activate the voice recognition function when the portable telephone set is in standby and to activate the voice CODEC function when the telephone set is busy. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 21 detects it to be 'busy state' when the digital portable telephone set is hooked off and data from a decoder 22 are voice information and detects it to be 'standby state' in other cases and infors a DSP 41 of the result of detection. In the case of the 'busy state', the DSP 41 extracts voice information from demodulated data information from the decoder 22 and gives the result to a receiver 54 via a D/A converter section 42 and an amplifier 53 and implements voice CODEC processing to process a voice signal from a transmitter 51 received from the A/D converter section 43 and to provide the processed signal to a coder 23. On the other hand, in the case of the 'standby state', the DSP 41 conducts processing to recognize the voice signal received from the transmitter 51 via the amplifier 52 and the A/D converter section 43.</p> |
