Single=bladed rotor with passive aerodynamic autonomous control

The rotor is for horizontal or vertical turning axes, and has linked components. It consists of a blade (4) and a counter-blade (1), which are angled to each other in the blade root zone, intersecting at an angle (beta), with the centre of gravity position of the rotor not on the blade axis but on the inwardly-angled side of the rotor, so that the flow onto the blade axis is not vertical, but at an angle 90 deg. plus or minus beta. The rotor is connected to a bearing (10). Alongside its turning axis (11) there is an axis in the longitudinal direction of the rotor, which can be the same as the axis (7) of the rotor, so that the rotor can describe a turning motion about this axis comparable with pitch motion.
