PURPOSE:To enhance corresponding capability to displacement of setting position of a board or a connector and reduce the kinds of components constituting the connector in the connector comprising a first connector installed in one board and a second connector installed in the other board, and electrically connecting both boards. CONSTITUTION:A first connector 20A has a first housing 30A which holds a contact of a contact 50A, a second housing 40A which holds the contact of the contact 50A, and a plurality of contacts 50A having a contact, connection 52, and a flexible, long strip middle part 53 existing between them. A second contact 20B also has a first housing 30B, a second housing 40B, and a plurality of contacts 50B. The housings 30A, 40A, and contacts 50A of the first connector 20A have the same shape as the housings 30B, 40B and contacts 50B of the second connector 20B. The contacts 50A, 50B have male contacts 54 and female contacts 56 adjacent to their contacts and come in contact with the mating contacts at two points. |
