The clutch disc has a disc with a protrusion and an engaging disc fixed to the disc body by springs. The engaging disc extends radially over the edge of the disc body and has a friction layer attached to it by recessed rivets. Each friction lining (2) consists of two layers (3,4) of frictional material. The lower layer (3) is riveted to the carrier plate (1); the upper layer (4) is stuck onto the bottom layer of frictional material. The surface (9) of the bottom layer of reinforced frictional material is buffed smooth before the top, non-reinforced layer is stuck onto it.
