发明名称 OPTICAL SEPARATING CIRCUIT AND OPTICAL SEPARATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable sepn. of multiplex light signals at low energy with one optical switch by using a surface type optical switch and executing one-point processing by utilizing characteristics of space carriers of light. CONSTITUTION:The n-channel multiplexing light signals propagating in an optical fiber 10 are branched to n-waves by respective waveguides 11-1 to 11-n of glass waveguides 11. The light rays propagating in the respective waveguides are condensed to the optical switch 13 by a condenser lens 12a. At this time, the light rays propagating in the respective waveguides deviate from each other on the time base by one channel-component each and, therefore, all the channel signals are eventually superposed on each other so as to be enclosed by a dotted line frame at certain time. A gate is opened and only the signals in the dotted line frame pass the optical switch 13 when the optical switch 13 is irradiated with the control light pulses by meeting the timing to the certain time. The respective channel signals, therefore, spread spatially again and are inputted to the respective fibers by a condenser lens 12b.
