INSULATING ADHESIVE TAPE AND TRANSFORMER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE:To provide an insulating adhesive tape with small amount of adhesive leakage when used with a transformer and has less possibility of reaction with a mold resin, and a transformer using the tape with excellent insulating characteristic. CONSTITUTION:An insulating adhesive tape 5 consists of an insulating base material 4 and adhesive agent 3 laminated on the base material. At least one end of the insulating adhesive tape 5 is provided with a margin of 1-48mm width where no adhesive agent 3 is laminated. A transformer wherein a coil 1 is wound while contacting to at least a part of the adhesive agent 3 of the insulation adhesive tape 5.
