METHOD FOR PREPARING VERTICAL SEISMIC LAYER EXPLORATION

PURPOSE: To determine the characteristic data of a litholayer structure by detecting a pilot signal generated by an excavating bit by an excavating facility and a plurality of sensors around it, subjecting the obtained trace to a combination processing, and recompiling the significant excavating bit signal separately. CONSTITUTION: Each sensor 10 is composed of a vibration sensor 13 mounted on a derrick 1, a current sensor 15 to measure the momentary absorption of the current flowing in a motor 5 of a rotary table 4, a pressure sensor 16 in a muddy water loop of a delivery duct of a pump 7 and a vibration receiver 12 on the ground identical to an excavation string 2, and receives a direct and a reflected seismic signal generated at an earthquake origin of an excavating bit 3. Return signals are collected by these sensors 10 and processed as specified so as to construct a new pilot signal to be obtained through significant measurement in a very good condition through a correlational operation with the given pilot signal.
