<p>PURPOSE:To decrease production of filming on an OPC photoreceptor and production of cleaning defects by incorporating a binder resin and fine particles preliminarily coated with a material having specified critical surface tension into the toner. CONSTITUTION:In the image forming method, an electrostatic latent image formed on an OPC photoreceptor is developed with a toner to form a toner image, which is then transferred from the OPC photoreceptor to form an image, while the toner remaining on the OPC photoreceptor is cleaned. In this method, the toner contains at least a binder resin and fine particles preliminarily coated with a material having critical surface tension (gammac) satisfying gammac<=30dyne/cm. Thereby, sliding property of the fine particles on the OPC photoreceptor is improved, and therefore, cleaning property of the toner from the OPC photoreceptor surface is improved. Thus, production of cleaning defects and filming on the OPC photoreceptor can be decreased and a latent image can be accurately developed, transferred and fixed.</p> |
