PURPOSE:To freely control the delay feeling and to improve the playing effect by delaying the start of sound generation of musical sound signal by either one of two musical sound signal penerating circuits and variably controlling delay time. CONSTITUTION:In two musical sound signal generating circuits 20 and 21, musical sound signals are respectively generated in a digital form having tone colors in accordance with tone color information with pitches corresponding to a key code KC given by a buffer register 18. Moreover, each circuit 20 and 21 respectively generates musical sound signals having pitches corresponding to common specified pitches in accordance with the code KC. In this case, the start of sound generation of musical sound signals in either one of the circuits is delayed with respect to another one and a delayed double playing effect is realized. Wherein, in accordance with the selected tone color, whether on not the delaying is applied and which circuit is to be delayed may be controlled. The delay feeling is freely controlled by variably controlling the delay time. |
