The device comprises one or more rotating rollers (4) with recesses (10,10a,10b) to receive the separated elongated products (6). The products are deposited onto a conveyor belt (5) placed beneath the roller and move in the direction of the arrow (18). The roller recesses are supplied with products from one or more storage magazines (3). The conveyor belt is unformatted or as far as possible format-free.
