PURPOSE:To restrict an unnecessary tension of a webbing under the condition of an abnormally high temperature while maintaining inherent capability. CONSTITUTION:A piston 28 and a wire 30 constituting a pretensioner 10 are connected together via wax material R having a lower melting point than the igniting temperature of a gas generator 32 while maintaining strength enough to transmit the moving force of the piston 28 to the wire 30 when the gas generator 32 is ignited. Under the condition of an abnormally high temperature, the wax material R is melted to disconnect the piston 28 from the wire 30 so that the unnecessary tension of a webbing can be prevented if the gas generator 32 is self-ignited. |
