PURPOSE:To replace the arrangement order in a flat cable without cutting an insulator over a wide range by cutting conductors to mutually replace in an intermediate position, and pressing a short-circuit wire into contact therewith through a specified two-stage type pressure contact terminal. CONSTITUTION:Conductors 11b, 11f to mutually replace for arrangement order of a flat cable 10 are cut in a longitudinal intermediate position (c), respectively. One-side pressure contact terminals 18a of four two-stage type pressure contact terminals 12 are bitten into both sides with the cutting position (c) between of the insulators 17 of the cable 10, respectively, and pressed into contact with the internal conductors. A crossed short-circuit wire 13 is pressed into contact with the other pressure contact terminal 18 of a terminal 12, Thus, the arrangement order of the conductors 11b, 11f constituted in an optional longitudinal position can be replaced without moving themselves. This method dispenses with the cut of the insulator in the bridge part, and the number of working processes and, in its turn, the product cost can be reduced. |
