PURPOSE:To provide a reversible thermal recording material with which contrast is high, discrimination by visual observation is easy, and the presence of a heat fusible material does not hinder formation of image. CONSTITUTION:In a reversible thermal recording material capable of repeating coloring and color deletion, an organic polymeric binder of the reversible thermal recording material contains at least a leuco dye, a color developing/ subtracting agent, and a heat fusible material. The color developing/subtracting agent is of a complex consisting of phenol carboxylic acid and amine, or of a salt. The leuco dye and the organic polymeric binder are present in a state compatible with each other, and the heat fusible material has a compatibility with the leuco dye. |
