The mechanism consists of a pair of pivoted arms positioned between a fixed part and the window, one arm containing the drive motor and gear assembly. The two arms (4,7) are pivoted on fixed ends (4,8) on the window and frame respectively, and pivot on each other, all axes being parallel to each other. A spring unit (2) contains a spiral spring (1), surrounding the pivot axis of the two arms, the tension of which is adjustable (5). The spring housing has a toothed perimeter (9) engaging a thread on a shaft (10) which is rotated by an electric motor (11). |
