PURPOSE:To eliminate a feeling of physical disorder due to the occurrence of speed change by high temperature time speed change control separated from a speed change intended by a driver, by performing the high temperature time speed change control, preventing an abnormal temperature rise, only during the speed change in an automatic transmission. CONSTITUTION:A transmission use controller 6 applies high temperature time speed change control, preventing a temperature rise no more when a transmission operating oil temperature C is abnormally high in the case of speed change control performed through on/off operation of solenoids 4, 5 based on a throttle opening TH and car speed V, and applies normal time speed change control except the high temperature time speed change control. However, switching from the latter speed change control to the former speed change control is performed only during a speed change of an automatic transmission 2, so as to prevent this speed change from generating a feeling of physical disorder to a driver due to the occurrence of the speed change, generated according to this switching, separated from a speed change intended by the driver. |
