摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the DNA of a human serotonin receptor subtype 2B gene associated with a new mutation, and to provide a method for detecting the mutation of the gene by utilizing the new mutation. <P>SOLUTION: (1) This DNA is such one that the 1162-site base on the coding region in the human serotonin receptor subtype 2B gene is mutated to thymine (T) or (2) another version of this DNA is such one that part of the sites other than that corresponding to the above base is modified, having such a base length as to enable the mutation of the above base site to be detected.
