<p>PURPOSE:To provide a battery charger in which the starting operation is simplified while avoiding damage to the circuit due to wiring miss or work miss. CONSTITUTION:The battery charger comprises means for detecting abnormality of the circuit, the power supply voltage, etc., when start of charging is designated through connection of a charging receptacle 3, and a controller 7 serving as means for starting the charging operation by starting ON/OFF control of thyristors 10, 11 when no abnormality is detected.</p> |
