A safety cap excellent in ventilation. The cap comprises a cap body provided with a gap between an inner layer and an outer layer, on which respective layers are formed a multiplicity of vent holes such that the vent holes on the inner layer and the vent holes on the outer layer are formed to be staggered relative to one another. It is preferable to insert spacers into the gap. Since an interior of the inner layer and an outside of the outer layer which constitute the cap body communicate with each other through the vent holes in the both layers and the gap, an outside air flows between the inside and outside of the cap body. However, the vent holes of the both layers are arranged not to overlap one another, so that falling articles and flying articles will not enter the cap body from the outside. |
