PURPOSE:To improve the operability by providing a mode selection button which is used to select a main body device, interrupts power of an undesired device, does not make no on/off of the device power in the BGV setting but selects the device to a remote commander. CONSTITUTION:When a power button 11 of a remote commander 10 is depressed, power of the television receiver and a VTR is set, a television broadcast is displayed for a channel selected by a ten-key 17 and an operation button group 12 reproduces a video. Then the operation of television receiver/VTR, CD, radio set, tape recorder selection buttons 13-16 in the mode selection button is used to select each device and to interrupt the power of undesired devices. Thus, only the required device is operated and each device is operated by the button group 12 and the key 17, and when a BGV setting button 20 is depressed, the buttons 13-16 do not make on/off of the power of each device but switch the operation. Thus, the video image of the television receiver and the VTR is set to the BGV and the power consumption is reduced and the operability is improved. |
