PURPOSE:To make it possible to automatically discharge residual fuel when a fuel bleed apparatus for carbonic acid gas dynamic lasers is stopped. CONSTITUTION:Liquid fuel 7 flows, through a fuel feed valve 1 and a pipe 16, into the manifold 11a of an injector 11, and then enters a combustion chamber 12. An oxidizing agent flows through an oxidizing agent feed valve 10 and a pipe 17, and also enters the manifold 11a. Another pipe 18 branches from the pipe 16, and is connected to a catch tank 6 through a bleed valve 2. Purge gas 9 is connected, through a purge valve 3a, a check valve 5 and an orifice 4b, to the port 11b in the manifold 11a, and it is also connected, through a valve 3b and an orifice 4b, to the pipe 17. When the valve 1 is closed and the valves 2, 3 are open, therefore, the purge gas 9 flows through the orifice 4 and the manifold 11a and discharges fuel remaining in the pipe 16, through the bleed valve 2, into the catch tank 6. This prevents soot from being produced after the start of operation. |
