PURPOSE:To improve the input operability of a handwritten graphic preparation function by making the preparation of a desired handwritten graphic possible by a simple input operation. CONSTITUTION:A recognition analysis part 4b recognizes a pertinent graphic from the shape and coordinate of a locus plotted by a handwriting on a display screen. A recognition group discrimination part 4c discriminates the group corresponding to a recognition result from plural preliminarily prepared basic graphic groups. A candidate classified by groups display part 4e performs a table display composed of plural candidate graphics included in the discriminated group. A selection candidate establishment part 4f establishes the candidate graphic selected/established from the table display as the desired graphic. Thus, a user has a high possibility of selecting the desired graphic by including graphic approximate or pseudo to a basic graphic in plural recognition candidates.
