PURPOSE:To provide a communication type orchestral accompaniment playing device coping with plural kinds of communication lines. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with connectors 12A, 12B, 12C corresponding to transmission reception units 30A, 30B, 30C coupled respectively with plural types of communication lines such as CATV, telephone and ISDN, and communication control programs A, B, C corresponding to the transmission reception units 30A, 30B, 30C are stored in a memory 18. A connector having already been connected to the transmission reception units 30A, 30B, 30C by a start program SP stored in the memory 18 is detected and the communication control program corresponding to the connector relating to the detection is used to receive playing data for the orchestral accompaniment playing. One connector may be enough, which is fitted to various transmission reception units. A communication control program is selected by a selection means such as an operation knob NB in place of the use of the start program SP. |
