PURPOSE:To provide a corner protector being not bulky, simple, strong, pollution-free, inexpensive and effective, which can be used as a corner protective unit for the packaging and packing of a squarish article by utilizing a corrugated fiberboard as the raw material. CONSTITUTION:Folding lines 2 are provided in the radial three directions of approx. cross-shaped perpendicular lines, of which the center point is the almost center of a flat plate 1 of a corrugated fiberboard being comparatively smaller than a packing exterior member. Then, a cut slit 3 is provided in the remaining radial direction, and four split surfaces are formed. Then, the split surfaces adjoined to the cut slit 3 are made to work as flap plates 4. Then, on a plurality of divided surfaces including at least the flap plates 4, an adhesive glue layer 5 with a weak viscosity is provided. |
