SECURITY PROTECTION PAPER

PURPOSE:To obtain protection paper having a high security assurance and no possibility that it may be simply forged by a method wherein a security strip is formed by providing a recording medium on one surface of a resin substrate and a protective film for preventing the curving of the recording medium on the other surface thereof, and the security strip is embedded in the paper. CONSTITUTION:A security strip is so formed that a first vapor deposition film 3 is deposited as a ferromagnetic material film on at least one surface of a resin substrate 4 to serve as a recording medium by storing security assurance data in a fixed or semi-fixed state in the film and a second vapor deposition film 11 is deposited on the other surface of the resin substrate 4 to serve as a protective film for preventing the curving of the vapor deposition film 3. The security strip is embedded in paper. Namely, the strip is provided with the first vapor deposition film 3 and the second vapor deposition film 11 of a polyacrylic resin or the like serving as a vapor deposited curvature-preventing protection film, and the second vapor deposition film 11 is deposited on the opposite surface to the first vapor deposition film 3 across the resin substrate 4, whereby a reverse stress is produced, thereby remarkably reducing a curvature.
