In a hybrid semiconductor component having a substrate, active elements and read circuits of silicon, the substrate is of III-V, II-VI or IV-VI semiconductor material and the component has planar interconnection networks between the substrate portions contg. the active elements and the substrate portions for hybridisation with the silicon read circuits.
