PURPOSE:To confirm that a sound signal surely reaches a recipient by providing a means informing a returned reproduction sound signal detection level to an utterance party and a means informing a sound level of the utterance party to a sender side. CONSTITUTION:A sender side equipment 11 receives signal through a video transmission line 26, an uttered sound signal from a microcomputer 13 of the sender side equipment 11 is multiplexed by a video signal conversion multiplexer section 27 via an uttered sound level detection means 23, and a video image display section 31 displays a portrait image 30 picked up by a video camera 24 of a receiver side equipment 15, a reproduction sound level image 28 representing a reproduction sound level detected by a reproduction sound level detection means 17 of the receiver side equipment 15, and a transmission sound level image 29 representing a transmission sound signal level picked up by the microphone 13 at a sender side. In this case, the sound signal level images 28, 29 are displayed in a bar level meter form and the level change is visuallized by the length of the bar elongated or contracted depending on the sound detection level. |
