<p>PURPOSE: To provide a film-coating composition for a solid preparation, which is excellent in coating properties, oxygen barrier properties, thus can keep drugs susceptible to oxygen stable for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION: This film-coating composition for solid preparation comprises polyvinyl alcohol and a water-soluble polyoxyethylene at a weight ratio of about 90/10-about 70/30 (PVA:POE). This composition can give a solid preparation of increased stability to oxidation by coating a solid preparation containing drugs susceptible to oxidation with this composition.</p> |
