PURPOSE:To decrease power loss due to higher harmonic restraint and save energy of a battery. CONSTITUTION:This system, where electronic devices 7, 8 with higher harmonic restraint circuits 9, 10 built in are connected to a commercial power line through an a.c. power supply (UPS) 1 with a higher harmonic restraint circuit 2 built in, is provided with ON/OFF circuits 11, 12 which controls so as to stop the operation of the higher harmonic restraint circuits 9, 10 fitted in the devices 7, 8. In the a.c. power supply (UPS) 1, a detection circuit 5 which detects if an inverter 4 is in a proper operating condition is provided, and in the case of proper operation, a higher harmonic restraint function stopping signal S2 is inputted in the ON/OFF circuits 11, 12 through a signal generating circuit 6. |
