A method for the effective biological purification of highly concentrated waste water, particularly waste water of sugar factories, according to the oxydation pond process where by means of aeration rotors oxygen of the air is carried into the pond water to be purified characterized in that the pond water whirled up by the aeration rotors is sprayed upon a synthetic material netting which is hanging obliquely over the water surface and extends into a living or staying room for biomass (flora and fauna).</p> |
