MANUFACTURE OF DIELECTRIC FILTER

PURPOSE:To make the characteristic stable by assembling the filter through the overlapping of coupling window electrodes and outer conductors in a way that opening ends of a dielectric surface of resonator holes are directed in the same direction and applying reflowing to the dielectric resonator while its both ends are fixed tentatively with an elastic metallic fixture. CONSTITUTION:A skin surface 5 of a dielectric body to part an inner conductor 3 and an outer conductor 4 is provided in the vicinity of opening of one side of a resonator hole 1. A coupling window electrode 6 is provided in a skin surface of the dielectric body with the outer conductor 4 removed therefrom on an outer side face of the dielectric resonator, and a coupling capacitance is obtained between the inner conductor 3 and the coupling window electrode 6. Plural dielectric resonators 1 are assembled by applying a conductive paste to the coupling window electrodes 6 and the outer conductors 4 and overlapping the coupling window electrodes 6 with each other and the outer conductors 4 with each other in a way that open ends of the dielectric skin surface 5 of the resonator holes 2 are set toward the same direction. The plural dielectric resonators 1 of the composite dielectric resonator are bonded by melting the conductive paste through a reflow furnace while both ends are fixed tentatively with a channel shaped elastic metallic fixture 7.
