The billiard table has a rectangular plate with one hole at each corner and in the centre of its long sides. A rigid frame (2) surrounds the plate and removable cushion holders (4) are held in this. The base of the frame has a notch (6) which holds the rigid heel of the cushion holder. The heel has holes (10) through which screws (9) are screwed to hold the frame, the heel and the plate together. The cushion holders are in sets of six for a game which uses holes and a set of four for French billiards.
