The filling device has a valve control system in which the control valves (31-34) are individually controllable single valves, each with its own operating element (31'-34'). The first control valve (33) is connected to a two connectors. The first connector has a first connecting channel (35) leading to the gas backflow channel (18). The second connector has two connecting channels (36,38). One connecting channel (36) comes out in a section (4') of the liquid channel (4). Another (38) comes out in the backflow gas duct (8). One channel (36) has at least one self-locking valve unit (37) to permit a flow from the second connector of the first control valve to the section (4') of the fluid channel, but not in the reverse direction.
