CONCENTRATED WEIGHT LOAD INCLUDING BALL BAT AND MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To make an additional load material correspond to increase or decrease of weight without being extended to the inside of the ball hitting zone by providing a first material block of a quantity enough to the concentration weight load coming into contact with the ball hit side end part of a hollow barrel of a bat, and dispersing plural discrete particles of a second material having a larger specific gravity than that of the first material. CONSTITUTION: A ball hitting zone separated from a concentration weight load 22 permits a wall of a hollow barrel 12 of a bat to be bent in the normal condition without being subjected to interference of the concentration weight load 22. The concentration weight load 22 is put in the hollow barrel 12 of the bat in such a manner as to directly touch the ball hit side end part 16 of the hollow barrel 12 of the bat. The ball bat includes a block of an injected first material 24 such as polyurethane or the like and plural individual discrete particles 26 of a second material such as metal or the like. The second material for forming the particles 26 has a larger specific gravity than that of the first material 24.
