Double flow axial piston machine

A double flow axial piston machine of angled plate design has a rotating cylinder drum (2) inside the housing (1), with several cylinders (3) and their sliding pistons on a graduated circle concentric to the axis of rotation. The stroke volume is divided into two chambers (8,9), with the first oscillating drive piston (4) having a recess (7) in which the second piston (6) slides and is connected to the cylinder drum. The recess takes the form of a concentric cylinder bore, and the second piston rotates freely.
