PURPOSE:To provide a treating method of coal ash enabling to efficiently separate unburned coal in the coal ash. CONSTITUTION:In a treating process of the coal ash provided with a hydrophobing process hydrophobing the unburned coal by mixing a water slurry of the coal ash with a collector, and a floating process producing air bubbles by mixing the water slurry with a foaming agent, sticking the unburned coal to the air bubbles and floating them, a cation collector single or together with a nonpolar chemical solvent is used as the collector. Other wise, the cation collector and the nonpolar reagent are mixed and prepared emulsion to use it. |
