PURPOSE:To obtain a food distribution container which has water repellency and storage strength, by applying or impregnating a solid or liquid hydrocarbon to a container raw material which is formed by sheet making a raw slurry containing pulp as a major raw material. CONSTITUTION:A sheet making raw slurry is a slurry of cellulose which is the major component of pulp and is mixed or impregnated with a thermosetting resin and is added with a polyolefin synthetic pulp based on polypropylene. The sheet making raw slurry is sheet made into a container raw material, and heat-pressed ad dried by a heating press. Then, to obtain a food distribution container A, a solid hydrocarbon of a paraffin wax containing a small amount of micro-wax is applied or impregnated to the whole surface of the container raw material. Therefore, porous small holes made during sheet making are blocked, and its surface tension become lower than that of water, so that it is excellent in water repellency, and moisture container in the atmosphere is prevented from infiltrating into fibers of the container even during an extended distribution period. In addition, the solid hydrocarbon does not develop when it gets dry using refrigeration. |
