PURPOSE:To switch the register mode by master card or the like and to make it available without opening a lid by detecting the input of the registered master ID medium plural times and registering the ID when the input of a new ID medium is detected. CONSTITUTION:An ID card is normally read once and when the ID number is OK, an electric key 5 is relocked and the door is opened to pass. When a person in charge reads the master card twice, for example, the mode is switched to a register mode and the registration is available by the prescribed time. A new ID card is read during the prescribed time and the registration of the ID number is performed. Then, when the ID card is missed or stolen, the ID number must be changed. The change of the ID number can be performed with the easy control as the internal registration mode switch should not be switched on and off by opening the lid of the card reader with the key switch. Thus, the cost of the device can be made inexpensive. |
