METHOD FOR INPUTTING THREE-DIMENSIONAL COORDINATES

PURPOSE:To provide a three-dimensional coordinate input method capable of executing input work for three-dimensional coordinates while holding a picture display with a stereoscopic effect by coordinate input work using a mouse or a tablet in a threedimensional CAD system. CONSTITUTION:A graphic display device 1 in a three-dimensional graphic processor 1 to 6 includes a step for generating a virtual plane (p) and a step for inputting two-dimensional coordinate data from a two-dimensional coordinate input device 3 and interactively inputting a three-dimensional coordinate value corresponding to the virtual plane (p) from the device 3 based upon the twodimensional coordinate data inputted so as to generate the three-dimensional graphic on the device 1.
