PURPOSE:To compactly constitute a labyrinth-like intake passage, which introduces air into an air cleaner of a saddle type vehicle such as a motorcycle, by means of a simple structure having a small number of part items. CONSTITUTION:An air cleaner case 4, in which an air cleaner element 1 is put between a left case half body 2 provided with an intake flow outlet 22 and a right case half body 3 provided with an intake flow inlet 32, is installed in a vehicle body, and the outside face of the vehicle body is covered by an air cleaner cover 5 via a seal member 10, so that an intake passage 26 is formed between the outside wall face of the air cleaner case 4 and the inside wall face of the air cleaner cover 5. The front part of the intake passage 26 is communicated with the open air via an intake 25, while the rear part, of the intake passage 26 is communicated with the intake flow inlet 32 of the air cleaner case 4 via an intake sump chamber 27. |
