THE METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING OF POLYESTER YARN WITH HIGH STRENGTH AND PHYSICAL STABILITY

The polyester yarn having a high strength and a low shrinkability useful for tyres and belts was manufactured by a direct drawing a high oriented polyester undrawn yarn wound in the velosity more than 2000 m/min. A distance from a surface of a nozzle to a cooling part is 100-200 mm, a temperature just under the nozzle is kept to 270-350 degree C installing a round heater under the spinning nozzle. Thus, a polyester chip with an inherent viscosity of 1.05 was discharged at 310 degree C, 580 g/min, and was cooled at 20 degree C in the 1.5 m/min velosity. The obtained yarn was wound in a godet roller to give the yarn with 1,000 denier and 249 filaments by 3 step drawing.
