PURPOSE:To make the exciting direction of an object to be measured for vibration coincident with a vibrational data measuring direction by making vibration measuring possible at an arbitrary vibration measuring point without processing the object. CONSTITUTION:A striking power transmitting device 1 for measuring vibrations is constituted of a main body section 1a housing a sensor for measuring response waveforms and a struck section 3 which is struck with a striking/exciting hammer and notched sections 4 and 5 are respectively formed on the front and rear faces of the surrounding wall of the section 1a symmetrically with respect to the center axis of the section 1A. At the same time, the width-direction dimensions of the sections 4 and 5 are made equal to the width-direction dimension of the sensor for measuring response waveforms. Then hole sections 6 and 7 and 8 and 9 are respectively formed on the right and left side faces of the surrounding wall of the section 1A symmetrically with respect to the center axis of the section 1A and, at the same time, the intervals between the hole sections 6 and 7 and 8 and 9 are set so that the periphery of the sensor can be positioned above the vertical center lines of the hole sections 6 and 7 and 8 and 9. |
