摘要 The invention relates to the treatment of eutrophic, pollutant-enriched and/or acidic stagnant waters. The problem is that stagnant waters conventionally treated with bentonite and precipitants can need a repeated treatment and, moreover, the sediments in shallow waters cannot be sufficiently consolidated. According to the invention, a composition and a process are provided which, using a mineral composition in a single treatment both precipitate out the pollutants and also consolidate the precipitated substances on the bottom or on the sludge layer in the water and prevents reeutrophication even in shallow waters. The composition comprises a mineral mixture which contains melilites, calcium aluminosilicate glass, calcium ferrite, clay, anhydrite, lime and sand having a chemical composition of (in % by mass) CaO of 5 to 30%, Al2O3 of 5 to 30%, MgO of 1 to 3%, Fe2O3 of 5 to 10%, SiO2 of 30 to 50% and a particle size of 0.5 to 100 mu m having a d50 value of particle size of less than 10 mu m.
