PURPOSE:To faithfully reproduce musical sounds of a wind instrument having a conical tube and to generate new musical sounds by providing a delay time control means, which controls the delay time of a delay means, and a multiplication coefficient generating means which generates the multiplication coefficient of a multiplier. CONSTITUTION:A delay length control part 64 controls a delay coefficient L of a delay element 31 based on a pitch PITCH indicating the pitch of sound and a filter coefficient (cutoff frequency) CUTOFF of an LPF 33. A release coefficient supply part 65 calculates a coefficient gammai by the delay coefficient L controlled by the delay length control part 64 and a damping release rate DRRi (i=1, 2, and 3 prescribing the period of supply of a reflection coefficient just after key off. That is, the delay time of the delay element 31 is determined in accordance with the pitch of generated musical sounds, and the multiplication coefficient of a multiplier 35 is determined in consideration of the delay time of the delay element 31 and the pitch of generated musical sounds. Thus, the attenuation of musical sounds due to circulation of a loop is fixed for the pitch. |
