Apparatus for extruding a viscous material

The invention relates to an apparatus for continuously extruding a viscous material with discontinuous reinforcing fibres therein. The apparatus has a rotating extrusion head arrangement, which has an extrusion die with an extrusion orifice. A multiplicity of blades extend outwards from the extrusion orifice. In response to a rotation of the extrusion head arrangement, the fibres are oriented in a helical form around a moulding.
