The invention starts from a bicycle crash helmet made of plastic, and a method for its production in accordance with the earlier Patent Application 8210370.0. In order to improve the subject-matter of the earlier patent, it is envisaged that, at least on those regions of the helmet which are subject to impact in the event of an accident, one of the walls (2, 3) or both walls of the helmet have sections (2', 3') running towards the respectively other helmet wall (3, 2) and away from it again.
