PURPOSE:To perform a conference while observing the entire video of a party receiving the voice by providing a means for controlling the display state of a window displaying the video of the opposite party who is judged that the voice is received. CONSTITUTION:This system is composed of a CPU 10 for controlling the entire equipment, a ROM 12 for storing a program to be executed by the CPU 10, a RAM 14 for storing data to be used for the CPU 10, manipulator 16 for performing the operations of the equipment, voice encoder/decoder circuit 18 for executing the encoding and decoding of voice signals, and a microphone 20 for inputting voices, or the like. In this case, the level of the voice from the opposite party is detected by a level detection circuit 22. Further, the hop-up of the window of the opposite party is designated to a display controller 32. Then, the window of the party receiving the voice at present is turned to a certain state so as not to be automatically overlapped. Thus, the entire video of the opposite party can be observed. |
