Device for quickly converting a go-kart-type chassis from 4 to 6 wheels (4 steering front wheels). The invention relates to a go-kart chassis which can be altered in terms of length and in terms of the number of steering front wheels. It consists of a basic chassis (1) having two flanges (2) at its front, each flange being provided with four holes allowing the additional front axle assembly (3), which has the corresponding flanges at its rear, to be bolted onto the chassis (1) and at its front to be bolted onto the bumper (4), the chassis (1) includes a steering device (5) which controls the steering knuckles (stub axles) (6) of the fixed front axle assembly which are designed specially to be connected by the link rods (7) to the steering knuckles (8) of the additional front axle assembly. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to improve the effectiveness of the front axle assembly of the go-kart. <IMAGE>
